Is it possible for a user to make the possible changes on their own to join a team after they have signed up as an individual?  Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

The only way I know of to edit this information is to make the change on the Fund in RE. You can drag a name into an existing team, or add a new team while in the Fund. You have to synchronize the fundraiser for the change to take affect online. As far as I know, the user has no access to editing this information once it's been submitted.
