    Changes to the Downloads page

We have streamlined The Raiser's Edge downloads page to make it easier to find the information you need. Check out the redesigned page and let us know what you think by replying to this thread.

Re: Changes to the Downloads page

I don't like it.  It does not show history of downloads.  When you keep the same version number for the file name and then change the binary without changing the name, it can be confusing as to which version you are actually getting.  I.E. the recently released 7.91 version called re791.exe that was released in July being named the same thing as the August 25th release called re791.exe makes it hard to track what you have downloaded.

Re: Changes to the Downloads page

    Hey Sue,

The file name remained the same because we were repackaging an existing release rather than release a new version. Future versions will have a different file name. We didn’t make any changes to how the Download history is recorded, but we did consolidate the notes that had been on the page into a series of links above the executable. What do you think of those changes?
