Hi everyone,
We are reviewing our RE structure for Campaigns, Funds and Appeals. I am wondering how other merged councils set up their new structure. How are you using funds? We are integrated with FE and post gifts from RE to FE. With our new fiscal year starting on Thursday, time is of the essence.
Also, does changing the structure make it difficult for you to run comparison data from previous years?
Any insight would be appreciated!

Hello Martie,
I know this is an older post, but I wanted to respond just in case there were questions surrounding this. I don't have anything that is GS specific, but I attached a short document that describes best practices in The Raiser's Edge. Funds will be of particular importance to you since this is the gateway of information from Raiser's Edge to Financial Edge.
Comparing data from year to year could be trickier in the interim when you change your structure; however, you will benefit in the long run by maintaining a structure that is styled in the attachment. Again, I know this is after your FY has begun, but I hope this helps.
