I am running a query on lifetime gifts for our donor wall and we want to give credit to the indivudals and organzations that have

matched gifts. I cannot figure out how to run this. If someone could help me even to run a query that lists anone who has

ever made a matching gift.

The Gift Type field would likely be helpful - and you could use this on several canned reports as opposed to running a query.

The easiest way to get your list would be to use the Financial Reports/Gift Detail & Summary Report and on the Gift Types tab choose the gift types that start with MG like MG Pledge, MG Pay-Cash, etc. You may also have an appeal called Matching Gift in your system if Matcing gifts are not managed by using a gift type - if that is the case, you can filter the report by selecting Appeal on the Filters Tab and using all or your standard gift types for the Gift Detail Report.
