Sphere Connector does not work for E-Commerce

    Sphere Connector does not work for E-Commerce

    We use the sphere/RE connector for all of our thon events. Recently we went online with e-store. I was surprised to learn that the integration is not available for the e-store. When I asked a tech if it was planned in the future, I was told no plans to put in integration are in the works. I plan to ask my account manager about this and will post any updates here.

    Hi Nora-

     Your above post is correct.  I am interested to understand how you currently represent eCommerce purchases in Raiser's Edge.  Do you simply log it as a gift with a gift type?  Do you represent which products were purchased online?

    I was wondering if Blackbaud has made any advancement in syncing eCommerce transactions through the Connector since these posts were written.  I am installing the Connector now and about to run my first synch - but I was not told that our e-commerce transactions would not be included.  We log all "purchases" made through our ecommerce tool as a gift to a particular campaign in RE.  I need to know if we are unable to sync those.
