    Position Description: The Development Database Manger is to ensure that all Raiser Edge modules are being kept up to date; to ensure that all data that is going into the database is clean data, there are no duplicates, maintain the up keep of the database so that all information that comes from Raiser’s Edge is accurate.

     Education/Training Required:
    • 2 to 4 Year Degree
    • 5+ Years of Experience with Raiser’s Edge
    • Excellent Communication Skills
    • Excellent Microsoft Office Knowledge
     

    Other characteristics desired for the position: Must be a team player with the ability to communicate effectively, and influence others regarding the needs of the food bank.  Candidate must have the ability to work with a variety of people from different socio-economic backgrounds, which comprise groups of staff, volunteers, customers, and the general public. 

     Major Duties: 1.      To ensure that data is being entered into Raiser’s Edge in a timely manner.2.      To work with all departments to get the needed reports run from Raiser’s Edge in a timely manner and in a way that will be useful to that department.3.      To stay up to date on the latest version of Raiser’s Edge and to make sure all updates are being done to the software.4.      To work with the IT department to maintain the website with the Donate Now section.5.      Make to download all internet donations in a timely fashion.6.      To handle all Global Changes to the database but to make sure that I have discussed these changes with the CDO prior to making the changes.7.      To successfully balance with the Accounting Department at the end of each month.8.      Ensure that all mailings that go out have the most accurate data possible and to ensure that no duplicates are being sent out.9.      To work to ensure that, all donations are recognized in a timely fashion as set forth by the CDO.10.  To work as a team player with the Development Department on all events and other programs as assigned by the CDO.

    11.  All other duties as assigned.
