    2 acknowledgees

What do I do in a situtation where I have two acknowledgees?  ie) Jane Doe passed away and has two surviving children and a husband.  Some of the memorial gifts want the acknowledgement to go to the widower, some want it to go to the son and some the daughter.  Although I have tried to set up the memorial different ways, I always get 'in memory of your dear wife, Jane'.  Is there a way that the various acknowledgees will come up in the drop down and I can select the one I want?

Take a look at the Honor/Memorial Tab on your deceased constituent record. You can create multiple Memorials and use the Description (or notes) field as your indicator.

In the situation you have described, we err on the side of just saying in memory of Jane Doe and creating one Memorial record. The acknowledgement letters go to everyone who has had a checkmark next to acknowledgee for Jane Doe (surviving spouse, children, parent, etc.). We don't feel it necessary to change the memorial or tribute to fit the relationship to the departed. Our excecutive director signs all the letters so he puts a personal not e on them if appropriate.
