Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me what's happening here.
I am tyring to do a conditaioal mail merge for a batch entry. But when I search for the quere in conditional mail merge, the query does not show up. However, the query is listed under queries and batches.
Does anyone have any ideas? Why isn't the query showing up in conditaionl mail merge function?
Thank you!

First guess is that the search is looking for particular type of query: constituent, gift.... and the query is not the kind it is looking for. If that's not it, let us know, we'll see what other solutions we can generate.
Hi JoAnn,
Thank you for responding. I did consider that type of query might be the issue. But it was searching all query types. Another odd thing is that when I do just a gift query search, the query I need does show up in the Query Name field, but I can't actually open it to do a conditional mail merge.
You said you can't open it - do you get an error message?
Is it a query you created? Just grasping at straws. Did someone else create the query and uncheck the box ' others users may run this query'? Don't know if that could cause the problem.
I think I'd try the online chat support and see if they have any ideas. :-)
Thanks, JoAnn, for all the suggestions. I was the one who created the query. I ended up just deleted that batch and redoing it, and everything went the way it was supposed to. I'll ask the online chat support to see if they have any theories.
Thanks.
