Alias - Using in mailings instead of the organization name

Is there a way to tell the system to use the alias name in a letter or envelope?  I have accounts set up as *.*, The with an alias of The *.*.  When I try to make an envelope, I don't see anywhere you can use the alias so that the envelope reads properly.  Am I missing something?

I'm not sure if it's possible to do through Mail but you could export Alias through constituent export and then mail merge in Word.

Brenda - I don't think the Alias field is meant to be used in Address/Mail processing. I'm wondering why you're creating an Alias for The Smith Company when you can enter The\Smith Company & RE knows to sort on "Smith" and not "The"?? Check out KB solution BB23120 for more info. http://www.blackbaud.com/kb/index?page=content&id=BB23120&actp=search&viewlocale=en_US&searchid=1252958553377
