Our organization has an annual gala where an individual or couple is honored for their support and achievements.  I have been asked write the proceedure for coding such people (in order to keep track of them) to our databasse.  My first thought was to code them under constituent attributes;

     Attributes - category: MEMBERSHIP - description: GALA HONOREE - date - [gala event date]

There are very few to enter (less than 3 dozen).  They all exist as individual contituents in the database already.

I would like any feed-back from others who have found this to work or other options which might work better.

We actually use the event module under the participation Field we use the word 'Honoree'

Did consider this initially.  Problem right now is that events prior to 2001 have not been set up in RE - and at this point it is unlikely that we will do so.  Our history goes back to 1988.
