Tracking Future schools for Alums...

    Tracking Future schools for Alums...

    We started using the education relationship, but where frustrated that there is no easy way to pull up a singe record and see every alum that has gone to that school. So we are looking at using a business/organizational relationship instead, this would give us the ability to open that organization record, and view all the Alums that attended that school, and in one grid view give us the dates attended etc. Just wondering if anyone has any comments on this, or if others find the education relationships lacking. Some background - we use education edge as well, and are using integration, so we are integrating organizations and persons/students between the two databases, and on the education edge - future/past schools are linked to real records etc...  Because of the integration we have the ability to easily push these organizational records to RE...

     You can query based on education relationship. For example:

     Constituent Query > Relationships > Education > School Name equals (whatever school)

     This would give you everyone who has that school listed.
