    Word experienced an error trying to open the file

    While creating a simple merge letter in mail merge, after finishing the letter template, saving and returning to RE, and clicking the Finish button, Word does not open the letter. It display the error message on the subject line of this post.

     Please help.

    Check out Knowledgebase solution BB412022. It sounds like the issue you described, and there are a few different ways you can resolve the issue listed in the solution.
