how to? my org letterhead as template for individual letters

Hello - When sending a personal letter/note to an individual donor I would like to be able to click on the MS Word icon in the menu bar of the constituent's record, select 'write a letter' and have a template open in Word with my org's letterhead. Right now a blank Word doc opens with date/constituent' name and address. - TIA!

You would set this up as a Blackbaud Word Merge via the Export function.

There is an arrow to the right of the Word Icon - if you click on it it will give you multiple options - Create a New Letter format is how you create a Letter format that you can then choose to associate with a Blackbaud Word merge to use as your write a letter function. (You can also click under the Letter heading of the file)

You wuold need to setup your letterhead in the Blackbaud word merge - I would assume that you would place the information in the Header/footer areas, but you could do Text boxes as well to lock in your letterhead infromation.
