    Starting a new year??

We are currently in the process of starting a new fiscal year. I am wondering if there is any way to "roll" over campaigns, funds, appeals, etc. to the new year without manually re entering every one.  For example we have an 08-09 AF which has certain funds and apeals and account numbers linked to it, so if I were to manually re-enter I would have to enter 09-10 AF, 09-10 funds and appeals that are linked to the AF and also account numbers.  This is very very time consumming and very easy to make an error because we have a ton of funds and appeals.  I would really appreciate any help on this matter.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Jennifer,

I haven't seen any responses to your posting early so I thought I'd share the way some of my clients have addressed this need in the past.

When you go to create the new campaign (fund, appeal) like 09-10 AF, on the Solicitors, Funds, Appeals and GL Distribution tabs there is a Copy From button in the lower right corner that will allow you to copy that information from another record of the same type.  This will save you a ton of data entry and help prevent any data entry errors.

I hope that you find this information helpful and have a great weekend,

    Naomi
