Hi all,

Our organization ran a matching gift campaign for the end of the fiscal year, where an anonymous donor is going to match every new or additional dollar given above constituents' normal annual gifts. We did a direct mail campaign and set up a specific fund into which gifts made in response to this direct mail were entered. However we also had many donors increase their annual donation or make a gift with their subscription, and these types of gifts were entered into our usual annual fund.

I am having trouble coming up with a way to create an accurate report that includes both funds and:

-Lists the number of new or lapsed donors who gave a gift to either fund within the time frame of the campaign;

-Creates a comparative report which shows the $$ amount by which constituents' donations increased. (A straight year-to-year comparison doesn't reflect those who already gave this year and made an additional gift).

-I've fiddled around with the comparative report, but ideally I'd want something that I can export into Excel so I can make good use of the data.
