Tracking prospects through attributes without search module

Does anyone have examples they could send me of the attributes they've used to track prospects in RE?  We want to start doing this but want to pull from some examples first.  Thanks!

    Hi Kathy,

What is it that you're trying to track?  I think we need more information in order to be helpful.  That said, we track each prospect's ability and inclination to give and assign him to one of our four giving officers.  We use an attribute code of P (for prospect) with a number rating from 1 - 7, with 1 being the ability to give $1M over five years and 7 being the ability to give $10K over five years.  We also use an attribute code of PI (for prospect inclination) of A - D (A being they love us and give regularly and D being they are known to have no interest in our organization).  We then use combinations of the two codes to determine cultivation priorities.  I hope this helps.
