    Researcher's Edge on Windows Server 2008

    I know that the product is not officially supported, but has anyone been succesful in installing/running the Researcher's Edge product on a windows server 2008 box?

    I currenlty have the product installed on a windows 2000 server box, which will be decommisioned soon. I have a new server, but it doesn't have an OS installed on it yet.

    Any responses/assistance are appreciated.

    I have had it working on Server 2008 with a local DB however I cannot get it to connect to an external SQL DB. I have tried the native clients and I have also tried different authentication methods. It appears to be something with the SQL browsing.
