    Importing individual relationships

I have been attempting to import individual relationships to existing constituent records for over a week now, with no success.  The exception report says "record does not exist."  The Field Name is blank, The Field Value lists the constituent ID number, so I can only assume it is an issue with the Constituent ID column.  I have confirmed that each and every one of the Constituent ID numbers is correct.  I have also followed the BB instructions step by step and confirmed column headings and mapping.  I have been able to import new records, update records with phone numbers quite easily.  But have had absolutely no success with this.  When I validate data, it passes with no exceptions.  Anyone run into this or have any suggestions?

Are you using the "IRLink" field in your import file? It's the import ID of the existing constituent & is required if new individual relationships are being made to existing constituents. See the Import Guide in User Guides for more details! http://www.blackbaud.com/support/guides/re7.aspx
