We offer 3 payment plans and would like to set up a tuition agreement/contract document or export from Student Billing. We would like to include all 3 payment plans on this document showing the monthly payment, bi-annual payment, an annual payment. We would also like it to include all other fees and discounts. Has anyone developed something like this to send to your families so they can choose what plan they would like to be on?

Jason - We setup something similar for a school client. We were able to export out the total charges, fees, etc based upon parent's registration choices into a Word merge document. Since this school has parents make their billing choice at registration, it was easy to produce the contract exactly based on the parent's choice. I don't know how you would build in a variable contract since Student Billing allows for only one billing method at a time. You could include static information within the Word document as an example, show the annual, semester and monthly costs if the parent chose an alternative billing plan. This school is planning on having a Student Billing workstation at thier registration fair. They will be able to input the parent's choice right there, produce a Statement of Annual Charges and the custom contract while the parent is waiting. It should really speed up their registration process. It will also give them the opportunity to have the parent confirm address, phone, and other contact information right there.
