Hi I'm Lisa Smith.  I've just joined the group.  Hoping to meet other DC users and see how people use Raisers Edge. I'm a database admin, not a development person. I work with Crystal Reports (We're still using 8.5 Curious if people think it's worth upgrading?)  And either blending RE data with other reports and/or generating excel info. I'm most interested in learning about Mailings, Reports and Exports, but I'm pretty interested in any subject RE related.   

Hi Lisa and welcome to the forum. You might want to check Blackbaud's website to see if space is still available at one of the upcoming User Group meetings in DC being hosted by APLU. I'm registered to attend the one on July 24, and I believe they were also offering another date as well. That will be a great way to connect. There are issues with user licenses with Crystal Reports 11 that may have something to do with your organization still using 8.5. Welcome!  I'm Erin, an RE user in DC, though I'm not going to the upcoming user group because it conflicts with my vacation.  I work in Development, but do work with Reports and Exports in Raiser's Edge.  We're still using Crystal 8.5 as well; I've created reports with Crystal but am still learning the complexities.  If you'd like, you can email me at ebullinger@brookings.edu.
