    Unsubscribe Email Request

We use Constant Contact for our electronic monthly newsletter.  Three alumni have requested an "unsubscribe" option from the emails.  However, we want to be able to keep their email in our database but don't want to export it when it comes time to send the e-news.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what to do with their email address?

    Thanks.

I can think of a few things - just choose one and use it consistently. Then utilize that field as a filter to exclude any records that should be excluded.

    1) Use the requests no email checkbox on the Bio 1 tab

    2) Use a Solicit Code for your Do Not Email

    3) Use the DNC (do not call) option next to the phone type

    Re: Unsubscribe Email Request

We are looking at sending our 1st e newsletter out and I would like some advice on how you get those darn email addresses exported out of RE. I am having trouble wrapping my head around it. Any advice that you have would be appreciated. This being our first I am sure that we have several email addresses in our system that is no longer valid. Thanks so much for your help in advance!
