Dexter School is an independent K – 12 boys’ school. Southfield School, its sister school, educates girls in Kindergarten through grade 12. Students learn in single-gender classrooms, through the two schools share a campus and some teachers. Job Description
The Database Coordinator will take primary responsibility for the constituent database, and will assist other members of the development office in using this tool. The Database Coordinator will report to the Director of Development and work closely with the Director of the Annual Fund.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Manage gift entry and acknowledgement
· Maintain constituent data
· Execute mailings and solicitations
· Generate reports and queries
· Assist with database maintenance and clean-up
· Serve as a liaison between the development office and the controller and registrar
· Maintain, adapt, and create policies and procedures related to the database
· Assist with event preparation and registration
· Assist with website interface
· Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, as well as strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, keen problem solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and the ability to work on multiple project simultaneously. Experience working in a fundraising office is required, and experience in an independent school is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and Raiser’s Edge software are also required.
