We are in the process of planning our integration between RE and EE and wanted to know if anyone can give some advice on the time it took to go through the "linking" process.  We have thousands of records and just wanted some feedback (success, struggles, etc.)

Before you start linking, make sure that that both data bases are as clean as possible.

The time that it takes depends on the person who is doing it and the data that you are using.

Get rid of any duplicate records before you start. Follow the instructions that BB provides.

Also, make sure that in both EE\FE and RE, a single record does not have the same address type (Home, for example) listed twice. The address types on each record must be unique or duplications will arise - I can provide more detail if needed. We created custom reports with Crystal for pre-integration data checking and this is one that we ran on both the RE and EE\FE sides - proved to be very helpful.
