The Financial Edge & HR Systems

I am wondering what software systems Financial Edge users are using to handle Human Resoruce records and information.  Does your software integrate with FE?

We use an older version of Sage ABRA (FoxPro edition) and we continue to have more and more reasons to look at alternatives or a major upgrade to what we have.  Having something that can link up with FE and share employee information would be icing on the cake.

    Thanks
    Matt

You can use Payroll 7 to track variety HR information for employees.  For example, you can track information related to employee hire, rehire, termination, contract start and end dates, performance reviews, and any other information using events.  You can also track employee information such as department, supervisor, position, and emergency contact on the employee record.

    Hope that this helps.

Hi.  I know this is a really slow response, but it might be helpful to others.  We use ADP payroll services.  I'm not particularly fond of ADP, but it does track all the data we need for HR, as well as handling the allocations we need to make in gross wages and salaries.  We have about 28 employees who are anything from full-time/salaried to on-call/hourly with everything in between; and a rather complex benefits package. (We have one employee whose gross is allocated to 18 different departments...)  However, ADP not only handles all that data, but the payroll gross and deductions for each pay period can be downloaded to FE, into a JE batch, to be posted to the general ledger.  This isn't something that I do personally, but I know from my supervisor that -- even though it took quite some work with ADP to get it set up properly -- it was worth the effort.
