Anyone else having significant issues with 2007?? It is causing many problems, including wrong data in mail merges. BB has had us jump thru several hoops and we're still unable to produce letters (reverted some workstations back to 2003 in order to do so), and mostly cannot even have Word open when trying to do things in RE.
Outlook/Dashboard problem is solved/inconsequential.
BB doesn't seem to know what to do, so I'm a bit up a creek also, even after spending weeks of time on this.
I had some issues with this...after running my weekly reciepts, I was unable to open the Word document merge. After quite a bit of trouble it was determined that due to a university wide move by IT (as half the organization is on 2003 and half on 2007,) to default all documents to open as .doc...and RE was creating documents as .docx (the 2007 Word default.) They had to do an override on my computer and my back-up entry person's computer and that seemed to fix the issue.
Have you tried simply renaming the document to a .doc extension? Can you open the Word documents then?
That's about all I've had as far as massive issues so far, but it's only been a few weeks.

We did try that, but no go. They are now telling us that the next release, end of quarter, will fix the problem.
Thanks for your input!
We are having major problems with letters and membership cards--anything that merges--after moving to MS Office 2007. With each problem, I keep telling my support analyst that the problem did not exist until AFTER we upgraded to Office 2007, but no one has commented on it. The weird thing is that different users may be experiencing different problems even though we are all on the same versions of RE and MS Office. I really wish now that we had never upgraded but we seem to have found workarounds which have allowed us to get things done. It has been frustrating and has also been a huge waste of time.
If you are funning XP which I would assume you are, my dashboard problems were resolved by loading the following web components from MS:

I hope this helps.
