I'm looking for information from institutions or organizations that are using a paperless gift processing system. If you currently have a paperless gift processing process, I'm interested in hearing from you! This could be any type of Check 21 system, imaging, etc. We're looking at implementing something here at Marquette.
Please feel free to contact me offline (teresa.pavelich@marquette.edu). I'll be forwarding any contacts along to my colleagues who will be working on this project.
Thanks in advance!
Teresa
Hey Teresa,
I can't tell you what other organizations have done, but try checking out other threads with the paperless tag to see what's been discussed in the past.
Hope this helps!
We are somewhat paperless here at The University of Texas at El Paso. We use a digital imaging system to scan the checks and back up and the staff have 2 monitors active - 1 with their RE batch open and 2 with the image open. The imaging system we use is LaserFiche. We do not have the drawers of files anymore. The actual checks and back up are destroyed after approximatley 1 week.
If you want to contact me my direct line is (915) 747-8523.
