Creating bio pages for faculty in Netcommunity

    Creating bio pages for faculty in Netcommunity

    Has anyone linked fields from Education Edge to Netcommunity for the purpose of generating a bio page for faculty or employees?  I could create a static page with this information but would prefer to link with EE.

    Unless you have the education relationship set up to hold employee/faculty information - it won't work.  This information can be recorded an primary organization relationship and be displayed on the profile parts.

    We have a faculty directory on our site that we use instead of bio pages. BBNC will only link to the individual's primary address in EE (which for us is the home address). Because we wanted to list the work/office address we solved the issue by entering the work address as an attribute in EE. You can pull faculty-specific attributes onto the directory display part in BBNC. It's a little awkward setting it up at first, but so far it's working for us. You could also enter text fields for your directory display, but attributes are limited to 250 characters.
