Looking for another Raiser's Edge user who has made the leap to emailing pledge reminders and receipts! We use snail mail for both. Just beginning an analysis of pros/cons and requirements. If you are willing to accept my call, would love to talk with you. Emily Parkhurst, US Naval Academy Foundation, 410-295-4110, emily.parkhurst@usna.com. Thank you.
We recently started emailing all Annual Fund pledge reminders for constituents we have correct email addresses on file. Make sense? So basicially, if we have there email address, we email it, no questions. It's nice because we can include the link to pay online, which many people do take advantage of. I'm just sending April reminders now. If someone doesn't pay online by the time June reminders go out, we will both email and snail mail reminders. We only snail mail capital pledge reminders.
Hope this helps!

Ashley, we are talking about emailing pledge reminders and receipts also. Are you using NetSoultions or do you click on the constituents email and attach the reminder/receipt and the link to pay on line. Also, it sounds as if it is working for you, are you experiencing unanticipated any problems? joann.bloomquist@mayfieldsenior.org
We are hoping to implement e-receipts for the upcoming fiscal year. We don't have NetSolutions, but were hoping to use the feature in the Mail module. Our IT is leery of using SMTP to send out the receipts. Are there other options?
Thanks!
