Being relatively new to RE, we wanted to ask if it is possible to produce customized pledge cards with donor information printed directly on the card (3 per page). In looking through the RE products, I see there are membership cards but haven't found a "pledge card". Is there a pledge card already developed that can be customized, and, assuming it is possible to print off cards with donor history  - what steps are needed to create the report?

There is a 'pledge card' option in the Mail function.  Doesn't provide much flexibility for pulling in desired fields, like history.  For our annual campaign we include donor history to annual campaign and have had to set up an export to get the data we need.  From excel then I just run a merge with our customized pledge cards.

This was probably our greatest disappointment as we would use this function a great deal and were led to believe we could do it directly out of RE.

Jeff, you might check out the 'profile reports.'  While your post didn't give much detail on what your end goal was, donor profiles let you pull a fair bit of donor bio data and giving history into a report, export, etc.

I have using custom pledge cards for years. I have a design layout in Crystal and it works great.  I am able to export giving history and any personal information that might be on the constituent record.  I am then able to run the pledge cards thru custom reports in Raiser's Edge.

Beth - Would you be able to share your Crystal design layout for the pledge cards?
