Community Colleges of Baltimore County Foundation(Maryland), CCBC Foundation is interested in contacting other Universities that use Project Management to do the accounting for their endowment funds and temporarily restricted funds. To deal with the distribution of both recognized and unrecognized investment gains and losses, and interest and dividend income from the investment portfolio. How to do the accounting for pledges receivable and traditional cash contributions in the Project Management system using Raisers Edge to feed the information to Financial Edge. Doing all this while being mindful that the fund balances are equal to the market value of the portfolio and the financial statements are on an accrual basis and the investments are the cash basis. Quite a moth full.

We are interested in finding solutions that will simplify our operation and still be able to meet all of our requirements. It seems as if we are reinventing the wheel  at every turn when know every other university foundation is doing the same thing. We would love to talk to others who have solved theses issues.

    Thanks,
