Does anyone use Surveys in NetCommunities?  How does it work?  Is it adaptable to a variety of question types?  Are  you able to gather the information for stats?   Can you easily run reports and queries on the information stored in RE?

I just set up a test survey.  It works pretty good.  You have to use the matrix to create a rating question.  You can do an "anonymous" query and not force your users to login to your survey.  If they login, you can get your survey results through the BBNC plugin in RE.  Otherwise once the survey is complete, can open up the survey part and there will be button that is named "View Responses".  If you do have it set up for "anonymous" you have to make sure that the security for the part and page is set to "Everyone."

Survey is pretty easy to set up.  Had a few problems:

1.  Could not set up question to rank a group of items in order of importance using a matrix.

2.  If you mark the questions as mandatory, the survey will not allow you to submit the answers.

3.  Not easy to regroup questions, have to move each question up and down.

4.  No spell check.

Yes.  Used a survey for our new graduates.  It was wonderful!  Easy to setup and great information that can be downloaded into RE.  Did have a hangup on the way the results were collected though.  Blackbaud is supposed to be working on it; but have not had a resolution yet.  Instead of one response per person I am receiving multiple responses; one per page of the survey or sometimes duplicates!!!
