    Help with Golf Events Module

I am trying to figure out how to do dinner seating after I have the golfers are set up in the events module under "seating". I used the "seating" to place the golfers into foursomes, now I need to set up tables and do seating for the dinner than follows. Many of the golfers wives join them for the meal so the dinner seating is going to be different from the golfer foursomes. When I took the class the instructor suggested that I set up a 2nd event for the dinner and group it? I do not understand the grouping part... and if possible I wanted to keep all of the information in one event. Can anyone share their experience on how they do this?

    Thanks, LaraLara HermannFoundation Assistant

Re: Help with Golf Events Module

Hi Lara! A grouped event is definitely one way to go. Here is a Knowledgebase solution on grouped events: http://www.blackbaud.com/esupport/esupport.asp?resource=&number=0&id=BB168662.

You could also add the spouse as a guest of the registrant: http://www.blackbaud.com/esupport/esupport.asp?resource=&number=0&id=BB18104. I think this Knowledgebase solution will help also:

How to view a list of guests for a participant when creating seating assignments

     I hope this helps!
