Hi, I would like to create a summary table in Crystal report based on the following data

John 1/3/2007 $800; 1/5/2007 $900; 2/5/2008 $2000

Peter 1/3/2007 $800; 1/5/2008 $900; 2/8/2008 $1000

In 2007, John offer total amout of $1700 and Peter offer $800

In 2008 John and Peter offer total amount of $2000 and $1900 respectively

The format of the table:

                                                                             2007            2008

1-1000(Total amount donated in each year)                  1                 0

1001-2000(Total amount donated in each year)             1                 2  

 I try to summarise the gift amount in the fomula section. However the Crystal Reports don't allow me to use the summary field in the Cross Tab function.

 Is anyone know how to do this kind of table?

Crystal Crosstab rows and columns cannot be based on a summary.  Your rows are based on a summary (total amount given).  Instead of outputting every single gift in your export, use the gift summary fields and then base your rows on those fields.
