    Constituent Codes - Business Rules

Where multiple Constituent codes are used is there any way to set up a rule that a particular code is always the primary one? We would like to set up a hierarchy of constituent codes i.e. Graduate (always displays first) if not Graduate then Graduand displays and so on. Although the manual says you should determine which Constiuent code is your primary one there appears no way to set a Primary constituent code?

I believe RE pulls the codes in the order entry, the top being "primary".  You can move them up or down by selecting one and clicking on the up/down arrows on the right.

Also, see the Constituent Data Entry Guide.  This is referenced on page 2 and Chapter 2, page 64 for info on primary constituency codes.  Hope this helps.
