Wasn't there an option in configuation under Business Rules that you can check to automatically soft credit spouses for gifts?  I remember seeing this option somewhere.  Thank you.

There is an option to do this on the Relationship screen.  You can set it for any relationship such as Family Foundations.

In config there should be a place to have it automatically check that checkbox for spouses but I believe it only applies to new spouse records added after you set this up.  Any spouses already in your system will have to be changed another way (manually - globally?) 

I thought there was a place in config that would allow you to check the box to have gifts applied to spouses records automatically, but for some reason I can't find that checkbox. 

Assuming that the spouse has their own record and the 2 records or linked -- Pick one of the two records, go to the spouse window, General tab 2 there is a box at the bootom of the window.  Repeat from spouses record asthis can be checked on each record so SC can be given both ways.

I agree that there used to be a place in config to do this and it is now gone.
