Does anyone out there use SMART Tuition as your tuition management service and import the SMART payment data to your Blackbaud system?  We are told this can happen seamlessly, but we have questions about how to set up our billing schedule and appropriate GL accounts to use.  Any advise would be appreciated. 

SMART Tuition is great for importing payments.  Entering payments is the bulk of the data entry that's put into Student Billing.  Having that system manage it can cut down data entry time dramatically. 

 Student Billing is really ideal for setting up the Billing Schedules and general ledger accounts.  You put the general ledger accounts on the "Automatic Billing Items" and then add Bill codes to student records that tie the student to the billing schedule.  I would check out the forum below with respect to setting up the billing schedules and appropriate GL accounts.
