How do I pull only current solicitors on constituent's records when the "from to" and "end to" dates are not populated on every relationship? 

Garbage in - Garbage out.  If it isn't correctly entered in RE there isn't a way to exclude them from being included in a report. 

 When you go into a person's record how do YOU know which one is the "current" solicitor?

Blackbaud has yet to perfect the mindreading module, so the only way that Raiser's Edge knows that the solicitors are current is by having the "end" dates populated or by the solicitor type if you have something like "former solicitor."

Otherwise, I'm afraid that it's a matter of "garbage in/garbage out."  There is no magic bullet that will take bad data and produce good reports.  You'll have to do some type of cleanup.
