If I go to  Configuration- > tables->add new entry and there you enter in the currency you want to use. WIll this assist me in keeping track of various currencies that I receive. Also fo reporting purposes I need this information. At the present time it only is showing US or UK currency,. Please advise how I can track various curerncy amounts in RE.Thanks

I am not sure if you recieved an answer for this, but I have the same problem. Could anyone advise on how you indicate a different currency in batch when the gift is entered? We're a Canadian non-profit but sometimes recieve donations in US currency.

I don't think I can actually help with your specific problem, but I wanted to add that we enter all our gifts in USD so if a gift is pledged or paid in a foreign currency, we will do the conversion.  If we entered gifts in different currencies, our gift reports wouldn't give an accurate reflection of what we've actually received.  If I really wanted to know what the foreign currency amount was, I'd probably write it in the reference field or somewhere else in the gift tab.  I guess I'd think about what you really want to use this information for.

We always have the money transfered at the bank into Canadian Currency, then record that amount in RE.  We keep the details of the original currency in the notes area and a brief message in the reference area to say it was a foreign currency.
