    Virtual servers

I'm planning a couple of virtual servers for Blackbaud web portals. The main database server is not part of this (it's already set up in non-virtual environment). We don't have any virtual servers at this point, and I've only played a bit with Virtual Server 2005, enough to know that's not what I want to use.

So. My choices are Hyper-V and VMWare ESXi primarily because of cost. I do have Windows Server 2008, so Hyper-V would be Hyper-V server.

What is the popular opinion? The storage will local (not a SAN). High availability is not a major issue at this point, thus the local storage.

    Comments, opinions?
