Slow performance after EE 7.77 patch 6 upgrade

    Slow performance after EE 7.77 patch 6 upgrade

    Has anyone else upgraded to EE 7.77 and if so, have you had any performance issues?  Both our backend database and FAWeb have been VERY slow since the upgrade on Dec. 26 and our network team has been unable to find any network issues that are causing the slowdown.  I noticed it even over the holiday break, when classes were not in session and there were very few users in the database, but now that school has resumed the performance issues are causing real problems.

    Susan, When we upgraded to 7.77 our performance was also very bad. We were using AVG anti-virus protection on our EE and FAWeb/NetClassroom servers. I disabled it and our performance is now just fine.
