Having a persistent problem with one of our users here (SIS). On her machine logged into her domain account she can't access the Registrar's office application. The error message returned is:
`Error in Main Page Load 'C:\Program Files\Blackbaud\The Financial Edge\AXDocs\docReports.vbd' Error number : -2147211486Error description : 'General ODBC Error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Communication link failure Native error:0`
If she logs in to her BB account from another workstation (and a different domain user) everything is OK. If another user logs in to BB on the problem machine with their credentials everything is fine. So its a specific BB user account on a specific machine. I'm stumped.
How are the other users logging in to her machine? Her username/password or another?
I kept having this problem and discovered it was in the energy settings - the hard drive would turn off after non-use for a period of time and lose connection.
