Thanks Jason, I will try this.
For some reason when I searched for help on blackbaud I didnt find what you found....strange. I have used the comparative report but the 2nd solution is more of what I need and similar of what I forgot how to do!
No problem. I prefer the second method as well.
Jason,
I have a question for you...if you run the comparative membership statistics report, won't you have an imcomplete view of where you renewals are?
I ask this because I have been on the phone trying to figure out how to set up renewal reports for our database. I see that when I pull this report it only pulls where we were in September, and does not reflect those who renew after September. So we will have 7 lapsed members, when in reality 3 renewed and 4 are lapsed, but these 3 renewed after september.
How can you relfect your renewal rates in a dynamic way?
Thanks,

Amy,
I don't quite understand the example you gave. How are you defining the reporting periods on Tab # "4: Reporting Periods "? Are you using a query any filters on the Tab # "2: Filters"? Lastly, what is your "Counts to Include" setting on Tab # "1: General" (Start, End or Both)? If you would like to discuss this over the phone, send me an email, and I'll send you my phone number.
