    Sub Reports are overlapping

I am working on a custom Report Card that contains two sub-reports.  My sub-reports are are formatted to go across the page horizontally.  On their own they appear fine. When I combine the sub-reports into the main report - I either get overlapping text - or I get a report that is double in size to what it should be.  I am using Crystal XI - my predicament is two different types of classes with different reporting.  My Academic classes use skills and comments, my encore classes use skills and class notes.
If I try to set up Academic and Encore as sub groups on a main report - I get duplicate field results.
I'm sure I'm not explaining this properly - but my flash of brilliance a few hours ago of using sub-reports has fizzled.
    Hoping someone can illuminate me.
    Thanks

    Re: Sub Reports are overlapping

I assume that you want one above the other.  Just add another section where you want your sub-reports to go and move the second sub-report to that new section.  Each sub-report can grow within their own section, but the sections will not overlap with the default settings.
