    The Encouraging Word is a non-profit national television broadcast ministry originating out of First Baptist Church, Spartanburg, SC whose purpose is to reach as many people as possible with God’s Encouraging Word.

    Job Summary

    ·        Web Maintenance through use of CMS, Flash, Java Script, HTML, and CSS·        Web Audio and Video Encoding and Streaming·        Some Graphic Design Ability·        DVD Encoding and Authoring·        Database Management·        Database Query and Output·        Server and Client Side Software Support·        Support IT infrastructure·        Design and Print Support for Appeals and Mailings·        Page Layout Ability a plus·        Work and Negotiate with outside Vendors·        Manage IT Related Contracts·        Phone Center Support·        Tasks include weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual responsibilities·        Other tasks as needed 

    Preferred Software Experience

    ·        Microsoft Office Including:  Outlook – Word – Excel –Access – Publisher - Visio·        Adobe Creative Suite Including:  Photoshop – Flash – Illustrator - Dream Weaver – Acrobat - InDesign·        Crystal Reports
