The Database Manager is responsible for management and daily oversight of the fundraising donor database function of the organization, using the Raiser's Edge software application. Establishes and monitors policies for database use and data entry, including security. Develops and produces standard and custom reports for senior-level management. Designs and executes database queries and exports for donor mailings and communications for Development and other departments. Develops and delivers training to staff. Reconciles financial data in the Raiser's Edge database with Oracle financial system to ensure proper accounting of unrestricted revenue. Provides ongoing analysis of database structure and use. Produces the weekly unrestricted revenue reports for senior management.
Researches, desigsn and produces weekly unrestricted revenue reports. Ensures integrity of donor data by researching, establishing and executing quality control procedures. Enforces data entry procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency of data. Customizes database structure to ensure optimal performance for CI-specific requirements. Constructs complex queries and exports of data for reports and mailings, for both external mailhouse vendors and internal staff. Reconciles financial data in Oracle database with Raiser's Edge data on a monthly basis. Supervises three data entry associates, reviews all data entry actions for accuracy and reviews all member and individual giving donor acknowledgment letters
5 or more years of experience managing a Raiser's Edge database, including runnig reports, queries and managing data entry staff. Expert level Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Access). Crystal Reports skills, Excel pivot skills.
