    Query--constituents with 10 years giving, non-consecutive

I am trying to find constituents who have given in 10 different years, but they do not have to be consecutive (which would make things much easier).  Does anyone have a solution for this?

I did this exact report via creating a Pivot Report showing all gifts for the last ten years, with columns for each year and then, via Excel, adding a count formula to count the non blank gift amount fields for each line, so that we could pick out those who have given, nonconsecutively or consecutively for 10 years.  It worked very well.

Report software such as Crystal Reports can handle this through a "record selection" type feature. But I'm pretty sure the Raiser's Edge query feature is not up to the task by itself.

If you need a query (rather than a report) of folks who have given 10 times you can have your report software select the appropriate records, save those constituents' import IDs, and then import the list of Import IDs. When importing, check the box for "create a query of imported records".

We also used a Pivot report to find those who gave 15 of 20 years or 17 of 25 years for a lang time giving society.  My only issue was that it worked on a calendar year and not our July-June fiscal year but it did give us an idea of what/how many givers we would be dealing with.   I would not be surprized at all if I got the idea from Harriet when I posed the question on the other forum.
