Has anyone gotten a report to total not only absences, but days present?

 The closest I have come to this is to create two queries: the first to select all "active" students, the second to select students with attendance codes for the particular day.  Then create a third query which merges the first two, and select all records from BOTH queries.  The "present" students would have nothing in their Attendance Code column.

 I've not yet used this query in a report, but know that I would be able to export this into Excel (or Crystal Reports) to count the occurences.  I'm looking for the same thing, but via an easier method than what I've described.  I had hoped it would be available in a Dashboard, but I don't see much promising there for attendance.
