Hi! We run RE 7.84.1720.3 and do not have the Events module.
Here is the issue we have: We have about 30 fundraising event a year. When we have to give a fmv for auction, raffle or even dinner, we are currently having to manually change each letter for auction and raffle items.
I can't seem to find fields to enter the event name, the auction/raffle item and the fmv along with the gift amount. I had thought maybe I could achieve this with the gift note description and gift note. This also would have given us an opportunity to save this info into the gift which we never did before. But, alas, the gift note description cannot be added to the merge letter.
Does anyone have an idea what we can use? I tried asking Support but their theory was to create attributes.
So, if you have any ideas, please let me know...

Hi,
I don't have the event module either. I use the gift reference field for In-kind donation descriptions. You can list total gift amount in the gift amount, hand enter a fair market value amount in receipt amount and use the reference field for the event name. All of these fields can be dropped into the merge letters.

Can anyone share with me event acknowledgement letters with fair market values, auction and sponsorships.
I use the Benefits and Gift Notes area all which can be put in the letters.
