Advancement Data Manager
Reports To:
Vice President for Advancement
Duties:
Working as part of a three-person team of Advancement Services professionals across the two campuses, the Advancement Data Manager will be responsible for generating regular and ad hoc reports for the Advancement office in Annapolis. The Advancement Data Manager will handle the compilation of mailing lists and work with staff and outside mail vendors to ensure integrity of those lists. Other responsibilities include: maintaining and updating Annapolis entries in the Advancement database (BlackBaud Raiser’s Edge); coordinating data quality and integrity; analyzing and enforcing policies and procedures; coordinating with ITS and other staff to establish connections between the Advancement database and other systems (on campus and otherwise); serving as liaison with the college’s ITS department regarding database permissions, problems, and application issues; serving as troubleshooter and providing general support for Raiser’s Edge users.
Qualifications
: Bachelor’s degree, three years experience in report writing or database management, experience with comprehensive management information systems, experience in development/advancement services. Demonstrated report writing experience using Crystal reports. Excellent customer support skills and dedication to a team approach. Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to analyze user needs and translate into reports.
Desired qualifications:
Working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge application and experience with complex report writing in RE environment. Experience in customer support and or training on Raiser’s Edge. Programming experience.
Compensation:
Grade 11, Minimum Salary
$39,556.94.
