    Email Confirmation via NetCommunity

    Would anyone be willing to share how their organization handles tax receipting gifts recieved via BBNC?  Do you send a paper receipt via snail mail?  Does your organization utilize the email confirmation as the tax receipt?  Does the gift amount effect the receipt?  We are new to NetCommunity. Any info. you can provide will help.

    Currently, we do not receipt through the email thank you for online gifts. Our process is to send an online thank you after the gift is donated. After the gift is downloaded into a batch, it is processed in the same manner as our donations through the mail. Our data entry processors commit the batch and do receipt letters using the mail function in Raiser's Edge. We're kicking around online receipts but haven't moved in that direction yet.
